The lighthouse at Hook Head is worth visiting at any time, but these special Halloween tours are only for those who like the ghoulish and the terrifying.

Four tours each evening take you though the darkened lighthouse where ghost and ghouls await and there are frights around every dark corner. Arriving in the dark at the lighthouse, with waves smashing against the rocks, certainly sets the scene.

The faint light thrown periodically by the lighthouse beacon adds to the athmosphere of terror, and the whole experience is well put together.

The tours are suitable for braver kids but are not for anyone, adult or child, of a nervous disposition.

Date and details for 2023 subject to confirmation.
