Run by Fidget Feet, an aerial circus company based in Donegal, this festival claims it can teach almost anyone to be a performer and with classes for all abilities, people return year after year to improve on the beginner skills they picked up on their first attempts.

There are everything from one-day taster sessions for those who’d just like to have a go at trapeze, cloudswing, rope or wall-running to full two week programmes teaching skills in more depth. The festival rounds off on the last night with participants showing off their skills in front of a live audience.

There are also performances to enjoy and social events and Letterkenny gets behind the festival with lots of music sessions and other events in local pubs.

Here’s a sampling of what to expect.

In 2018 for the first time the festival runs alongside the Earagail Arts Festival.

If you fancy having a go yourself, there is a series of beginner classes, the Explorer Experience, allowing you to try a little bit of everything.

Information and Map

Advance booking for all classes is essential – see website for details. All events take place in the An Grianán Theatre or the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny.
