This is really quite a unique event, an opera performed in the beautiful gardens of Loughcrew House, it is not just about the music but also the wonderful surroundings and the very special atmosphere.
The opera itself takes place in the reception rooms of Loughcrew House and attendees are encouraged to dress in a fashion appropriate to the opera being performed.
Go along early and give yourself time to explore the lovely gardens. The grounds open about 90 minutes before each performance and there is a one hour interval to allow you to enjoy a picnic.
