SeaFest celebrates Ireland’s maritime heritage and relationship with the sea over a weekend of fun, family friendly events. Centered around Galway Harbour which becomes an ‘open air sea world’ there will be tours of ocean going vessels, aquatic displays, exhibits on marine life and fun educational activities to introduce children to the science and mysteries of the ocean.
The programme of events also includes a seafood fair, interactive exhibitions and seafaring family entertainment.

Official events mostly take place around the harbour in Galway City, but Galway is a place that does festivals better than well and there are sure to be loads of extra events scheduled throughout the city.
