Can anyone please tell me if its possible to drive from Co Leitrim to the Giants Causeway and back in one day. ??? If not, is there a quicker way, ie, by flying or train.
Thank you all very much.

Ahoy everyone.
HI, We are thinking of leaving Dublin via train to Tralee (4hrs?) renting a car …
Am I out of my mind to drive from Dingle to Clifden in a straight shot? Then go …
My wife and I are staying in Ballyvaughan for 4 days w\a car.

Well, there are no trains or planes anyway, so it’ll be drive or nothing.
I’ve added a map to your question above – just enter ‘Leitrim, Ireland’ into the A box there and you’ll get directions. As you can see, it is a journey of 213 Kilometers, which is about 132 miles, and will take over 3 hours 30 minutes.
So I suppose it is doable in a day, though it’s a very long round trip.
It may surprise you that it would take so long to drive 132 miles – but that is about right, I would not plan on it taking any shorter a time.
